Australia-first sourcing. Private briefs. Already have quotes?

Buyer-paid pilot · quotes you already hold

Make sense of two manufacturing quotes.

See what is included, what is missing and how much cash each quoted order requires. Start with a non-confidential outline; we will confirm whether a bounded comparison is useful and provide a custom quote.

Already have two proposals and a decision to make?

This route is for a buyer comparing two existing proposals for one product or a tightly related SKU family, one agreed specification revision and one delivery destination. A supplier search or new tender is a separate scope.

Enquire about comparing my quotes

No documents or payment needed for the opening fit review. Do not paste confidential quote details into the enquiry.

The proposed comparison pack

  • A side-by-side scope and specification check for two buyer-supplied proposals.
  • Quoted-order quantities, known first-order charges and payment milestones, with missing values left unknown.
  • Exclusions, inconsistent assumptions and technical, quality or commercial evidence gaps.
  • One consolidated question list for you to send to suppliers and one written decision-support summary.
  • One consolidated clarification round with you on the supplied information; final limits and acceptance checklist agreed in writing.

Agree the boundary before work

  • Custom quote on enquiry. The fee, applicable GST, timing, deliverable and revision limit are agreed before paid work starts.
  • Default scope uses the quotes you hold and involves no supplier contact. Supplier clarification or negotiation needs separate written scope and permission.
  • A third quote, changed product, new specification, additional destination or specialist assessment needs a separately agreed variation.
  • No factory award, production instruction, supplier guarantee, legal clearance, product approval or reserved capacity is included.
  • You retain technical acceptance and the supplier-selection decision. Unresolved technical or regulatory facts stay open; we do not select a winner over them.

A private, controlled start

  1. 1. Describe the decision

Tell us the product or process, quantities, destination, specification readiness and decision date without sensitive prices, formulas or supplier files.

  2. 2. Agree access and scope

Before sharing either proposal, confirm your right to share it, the named recipients, confidentiality arrangements and a suitable private sharing method.

  3. 3. Compare, then resolve gaps

The comparison records what the documents establish and what still needs an answer. You decide which questions to send and which specialist approvals are required.

Synthetic sample deliverable

Worked example: lower unit rate, larger first commitment

Entirely synthetic illustration, prepared 10 October 2026. These are invented quotes, not client results, live suppliers or market prices. Both assume specification FT-EXAMPLE-01 Rev A: the same 100 g dry-powder sachet, buyer-supplied powder, printed film and cartons, ten sachets per carton, and collection from the production site in Australia. The buyer needs 5,000 sachets. Quote B requires an order of 10,000.

Synthetic example with different order quantities. All amounts are AUD; missing costs and GST are excluded.

  • A has A$1,430 less in known supplier charges and A$1,550 less due at order, but also buys 5,000 fewer sachets. Neither difference is a like-for-like saving on an equal quantity.
  • Do not apply B's A$0.36 rate to a 5,000-unit order: B has not offered that quantity. Request equal-volume quotations if they are available.
  • The full first-order cash requirement remains unknown because buyer-supplied inputs, freight, insurance and applicable tax are missing. Unknown does not mean zero.
  • The balances add to the known supplier charges: A$1,800 + A$1,200 = A$3,000; A$3,350 + A$1,080 = A$4,430. Timing and payment conditions are assumptions, not supplier commitments.
  • No winner is selected. Confirm fill and seal acceptance criteria, trial scope, wastage, evidence, capacity and the commercial treatment of surplus stock before a buyer decision.

FactoryTender is operated by SachetsCo Pty Ltd. SachetsCo manufacturing is excluded from bidding on FactoryTender marketplace briefs. Any relevant commercial relationship must be disclosed before a sourcing decision; this service does not turn your brief into an own-factory lead. Read the conflict disclosure. The published A$495 assisted brief and A$1,490 managed tender, plus applicable GST, remain separate pilot services on the pricing page.
