1. Who is responsible
SachetsCo Pty Ltd operates FactoryTender and is responsible for the information handled through the service. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@factorytender.com.
2. Information we may collect
We may collect contact and company details, manufacturing requirements, capability and certification information, correspondence, service and payment records, the page or campaign details attached to a submitted enquiry, website security logs, and information needed to assess a brief or application. A first-stage Foundry application may include profile links, current role and country, shipped-work and traction levels, weekly availability, a concise evidence example, manufacturing fit, screening scores, reviewer notes and status history. Deeper commercial, technical, conflict, funding and reference information may be requested only at a later private stage. Later confidentiality stages may include formulas, drawings, artwork, specifications, pricing and supporting evidence only under separately agreed controls.
3. Why we use it
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, assess readiness, match buyers and manufacturers, coordinate a tender, assess Foundry eligibility and fit, verify experience, identify conflicts, conduct safety and compliance checks, administer fees, maintain security and records, comply with law, improve the service and communicate about the submitted application or requested service. A referee is contacted only after separate express authority. We do not sell personal information.
4. When information may be disclosed
Marketplace records may be handled by authorised FactoryTender operators and disclosed to an identified buyer or manufacturer only at the agreed tender stage. Foundry applications may be handled by authorised Foundry operators and relevant service providers or professional advisers, but are not disclosed to marketplace buyers or manufacturers for tender purposes. A referee or stated organisation may be contacted only after separate express authority for that contact. Only information reasonably required for the stated purpose is provided. Legal disclosure may occur where required or authorised by law.
5. Confidential manufacturing information
An initial enquiry should contain only a non-confidential summary. Sensitive information is shared only after scope, recipient and access controls are agreed. A confidentiality agreement reduces risk but does not eliminate it. Buyers remain responsible for deciding what to disclose and for protecting patent, design and other intellectual-property rights.
6. Overseas access and providers
Website hosting, security, email and other service providers may store or access information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where their infrastructure or support teams operate. The destination may vary by provider and service. Before any sensitive cross-border manufacturing disclosure, FactoryTender will identify the intended recipient and country and obtain the authority or agreement considered appropriate. Do not send export-controlled, defence, health or other restricted information without written confirmation.
7. Security and retention
First-stage website submissions are stored in a restricted hosting database and are not public listings. Access is limited to authorised FactoryTender operators. No system is completely secure. Marketplace submissions are marked for operator review after 12 months. Inactive or unsuccessful Foundry applications are reviewed 180 days after submission and deleted within 30 days of that review unless they remain needed for an active process, legal obligation, dispute, security matter or documented business record.
8. Foundry decisions and marketplace separation
A preliminary Foundry score may be calculated from structured applicant responses, and an authorised reviewer may record evidence scores and notes. A person makes every status, interview and selection decision. The system does not automatically accept, reject or contact an applicant. Foundry application data is kept separate from buyer briefs, manufacturer applications and tender bids. It is not used to affect marketplace verification, ranking, invitations or selection.
9. Website data and cookies
The opening site may process basic technical logs needed for delivery, security and diagnostics. When a form is submitted, its landing path, referring site or internal page, and URL campaign parameters may be saved with that enquiry so FactoryTender can understand which outreach produced useful briefs. This first-stage attribution does not add an advertising cookie. Optional analytics or advertising cookies will not be added without an updated notice and any consent controls required by applicable law.
10. Access, correction, withdrawal and complaints
You may request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw a Foundry application, or raise a privacy complaint by emailing info@factorytender.com. We may need to verify identity and may refuse or limit a request where law permits. If a complaint is not resolved, Australian privacy regulators or another applicable authority may be available.
11. Changes
The current version and date will be published on this page. Material changes affecting an active confidential process should also be communicated directly where reasonably practical.
